0 chance they trade Parsons, especially to a division rival. That'd be even more criminal than what the Giants did with Barkley.

Win-win on Micah. If he gets traded out of the division we still don't have to face him twice a year.

It's delightful that Dallas screwed themselves with the Dak and Ceedee contracts.

Saints are still way over the cap, wouldn't mind seeing if we can steal Kamara away. He can still be a game breaker.
Trading him would get the Saints a net cap hit of 12.5 mil. Hard to make the case that they do that to help their cap situation.

He hasn't been much more than decent in like 4 years, btw.

Garrett would be nice but I wouldn't give up multiple firsts for anyone in the league.

I'd be planning on going after Micah Parsons. He's volatile but he's a known scheme fit and I absolutely think he'll have interest in rejoining Dan Quinn if he hits free agency.

I'd try and swing a trade for Travis Etienne. That feels like a buy low opportunity heading into the final year of his rookie deal.

There is 0 chance Dallas trades Micah Parsons unless Jerruh hires the Mavs GM or something.

I bet they've already made plans and schemed up scenarios for it. His contract negotiation is going to be the wort one yet for them.

To trade him? Doubt it. Say what you will about Jerruh but he knows how to take care of his stars. His problem is he waits till the last second to extend em, effing him over in FA. But he always takes care of em.

Parsons grew up a Cowboys fan and he's big into his brand and off the field stuff and being a Cowboy raises his national profile. He's not going anywhere.
According to Ian Rapoport, they've already discussed trading him. Those kinds of internal discussions are commonplace about all players heading into contract years, but something feels off about the relationship between the Cowboys and Parsons. And most of their extension negotiations have been really rocky for the last several years, I don't think this extension is going to be a done deal for them.

It would take two first round picks to get him in trade, but who would you rather trade two first round picks for, Parsons or Garrett?

I'd prefer Parsons just because of his age but either one would be fine with me! 😀

Parsons would cost way more than two 1s. He's younger and has more upside than Garrett. It would probably cost at least three and then some.

And again, there is no way Jerruh trades him to a division rival. He won't trade him period. The Cowboys take care of their stars, they just like to float this type of crap out there to create offseason buzz so the media continuously talks about them for the next six months.

Its a pipe dream to bank on landing Parsons.

Nah, the most they would get is the Khalil Mack trade. Two firsts, a third, and a sixth and Chicago also got back a second on that deal. Two firsts is already a ruinously expensive trade for any player, no non-QB will probably ever get dealt for three firsts again.

I don't think the market for Parsons is going to be as big as you'd think because any team dealing for him has to be able to get an extension done in a short window. All it will take for him to hit the trade market is a preseason holdout and stalled negotiation.

I wouldn't bank on any of these pass rushers. In fact I'd be going after a vet like Khalil Mack in free agency first. But Parsons being out there is definitely a reason to not trade two firsts for Myles Garrett. Parsons could give you DPOY years and justify the cost, but there is just no way you're getting multiple DPOY caliber seasons from Myles Garrett after 30.

There is no way Jerry is trading Parsons to a division team. I'm not convinced the Browns will trade Garrett.

If they're smart they will. They need to start over and get draft picks. Trading what they did for Deshaun set them back but they can blow it up and start fresh if they trade.
