I find it interesting (but not surprising) that Jerry has no juice to be able bring in a sexier candidate. I have to imagine he feels pretty embarrassed about shit canning McCarthy.

Its clear that the Jerry Jones/Daniel Snyder way of running an NFL franchise doesn't work. Players that for years have wanted to be Cowboys no longer will want to go there. Jerry just said he bought the franchise so he could play NFL GM. It doesn't work in this day and age of advanced metrics scouting and analysis.
