On FB on a Falcons page, a Falcons fan was talking smack. Pointing out our close wins.

He was saying Falcons got this.

glad there is an ES alternative. was weird during pre and post game periods without the forum. anyway...

I'm scared of Robinson and Penix is an unknown. woulda felt more comfortable if it was Kirk helming their ship. hopefully the team is amped up for quinn's revenge game.

Penix scares me, I was one of the few who was not critical of the Falcons for making this selection as I believe he can be a good NFL QB. So yeah I'm concerned and glad they are at home. I got it 27-24 Commanders who miss a field goal but still win a close one.

I think the falcons have new energy with their new guy and will come out swinging. I mean, we won against the eagles despite 5 turnovers and with their back up QB playing. He did seem to play well but I don’t really see how we win if hurts was playing. Especially after that stinker that we won in New Orleans.

I think we come out flat 13-31L that wakes the team up for a beat down vs the cowboys on and playoffs.

This team needs to show they can play a complete 4qtrs of football. They've been flat, almost awful at times for half a game. Whether its 1st or 2nd half, is anyone's guess.
I'm kinda bummed to see Lattimore out again. BSJ is going to make Penix look All-pro on Sunday.
If we can play solid 4 qtrs of ball, it's a 35-17, Commanders.

I have kept not up with them at all outside of He who shall not be named. Can their defense even realistically slow us down? I feel like we have this one in the bag (which makes me nervous)

If we lose to a rookie in his second game, then frankly we deserve to lose next week against Dallas and miss the playoffs.

Yeah, I know we are starting our own rookie but he has 10 wins out of the 14, he played the full game.

Penix looked pretty good in his debut and Atlanta was at the top of their division before Cousins collapsed, so I think they are a tough team to beat. Cousins is responsible for their losses. They could have a better record than us going into this game if it wasn’t for all the poor decisions cousins made.
