The title pretty much says it all....ironically, I just had some extensive dental work done on Monday, so I can't drink alcohol....yet....

Not much for wine.

Honestly, I like cheap beer. Don't get me wrong, I like nice craft brews, too. But lately it's just been PBR, Coors Light, Red Stripe. One in the evening after work.

A buddy came over Friday and brought a quart of beer from a brewery in Baltimore called Nepenthe. It was a dark beer, but not too heavy...goddamn that was good.

There is nothing wrong with cheap beer, especially if it's PBR!

Nope, nothing wrong with it at all but when people get all snobby about it, it's like...c'mon. Drinking a PBR right now, it's clear, crisp, refreshing. Not every beer has to be a craft brew experience.

Agreed!
You like what you like.
I'm a whiskey geek, but not a whiskey snob.
Some of my friends with more "discriminating" tastes laugh at some of the cheap whiskey that I like...

Never tried it. Looks like a new outfit. For single pot still Irish Whiskey you can’t go wrong with Jameson’s RedBreast
