After Garcia flexed on home plate right after he hit the demoralizing 3-run bomb in the bottom of the 10th, I thought we were done. I'm glad I didn't turn away. Great ending... I felt rewarded for staying tuned in.DCSaints_fan wrote: Mon Jun 30, 2025 11:35 pm3-run lead no bueno. Maybe 4-run lead OK

Seriously. I even bet against the O's today cuz I thought he might revert to the crappy Morton. Of course he twirls a gem.
Never been so disappointed to see Henderson smash a HR.
I just want to see the young guys to keep getting better - Westburg, Cowser, Holliday, Mayo...I've sort of given up on Adley but once he gets healthy hopefully he gets better. I don't think Kjerstad will ever be good.
Team still needs pitching. I suppose Bradish and Rodriguez could come back and be good, but certainly not this year.
Young tosses Immaculate Inning vs. Mets; 5th pitcher in O's history to do so
In his fifth Major League start, Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Brandon Young had the best inning any arm could want. Young tossed a three up, three down perfect fifth inning on nine pitches for an Immaculate Inning against the New York Mets. Young produced two strikeouts swinging and the final one looking against the Mets.
It was the fifth immaculate inning in O's franchise history and the first since starting pitcher Kevin Gausman in 2018.
