Re: Welcome to the Commanders Trey Amos, DB Ole Miss

Really hard to imagine we got anything less than a starter with this pick, which is genuinely odd. Picks in the 60 and beyond range should be less than toss ups, but he feels like a 70/30 hit as at least an adequate starting corner. So happy we got him, and he also took a ton of edge off the OT pick ...

You can coach up pass protection/blitz pick ups so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

But right now there are 5 RBs on our roster. Someone half decent is gonna be cut. Maybe we shop B Rob around to some team that has RB injuries in camp.

Nah.

They won't trade Robinson or even release ...

Re: The 2025 NFL Draft Thread

Not on my watching-reading and I hit a pretty wide gamut. It's mostly love with minor criticisms. The minors ones that I encountered was Sikemma from PFf who ranked him 30, we took him 29 and said he doesn't love him as much as his co-host from PFF. McShay had him 45 but then goes on about how ...

Re: Welcome to the Commanders Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB Arizona

Kinda with you, kinda not. I think Brian stays in house, I can't remember Ekeler's contract status, that will determine where he ends up, k, checked, his dead cap hit is virtually zero, so Ekeler could stick or be an easy cut. I don't think they're turning over the backfield to Jacory, but I've also ...

Who would have guessed Jaylin Lane's long lost twin is Bill Burr. Billy Corgan will need to sit down for the ocean talk.

Re: Welcome to the Commanders Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB Arizona

You can pile me into the Croskey-Merritt car. I had never heard of him until this past weekend, but I really like him as a value on late day 3. No idea if he hits, as I mentioned before, I was deeply excited for Bryce Love and Keith Marshall and neither did anything last decade, but in terms of dart ...

Re: The 2025 NFL Draft Thread

Peters was smart in drafting OT and CB early. We took them just as there was gonna be big drop offs in talent. After Connoly the last high echelon T left was Simmons and both would be gone pretty much instantly (everyone knew KC was going OT). After Amos the last good CB left was Revel (like ...
