Re: The 2025 NFL Draft Thread

Congrats Jacory Croskey-Merrit, RB of Arizona, you are the last Washington Commanders pick!

I did as longish post about him a couple of hours ago. Great pick.

I watched as much as I can find of him. Wasn't easy. He didn't have that many clips so i had to sit threw some New Mexico games on ...

Re: The 2025 NFL Draft Thread

Shocked that Damien Martinez and Peebles haven't been drafted yet.

Re: The 2025 NFL Draft Thread

Love the Lane pick but I'll talk about him later. Focused now on RBs

This team like athletic scores. He gets almost no buzz. And he's not easy to watch because his career was mostly with New Mexico, and you got to watch their full offense on youtube. I did it for some games. And I did like Croskey ...

Re: Draft thread

Billy Bowman is another dude they met with multiple times. Feisty coverage safety -- FS-nickle type. Ball hawk. A bit reckless as a tackler, misses tackles but intriguing.

Re: Draft thread

I've only watched Swinson's highlights, but blown away by him on that count, shocked he's still there.

Another dude they spent a lot of time with who is still there is Billy Bowman.

Re: Draft thread

Looking at WR, I feel vindicated that Eric Ayomanor is still on the board. He was a hipster mock media draft darling. I never got that, If you are a WR, you need to at least major in catching the ball. I got he runs good routes and is a good pass blocker. But he has ways to go IMO, having said that ...

Re: Draft thread

Amos was a great pick IMO.

RB is tempting now. Giddens, Skattebo, are my two favs. Followed by Tuten, Sampson, Martinez

At edge, they spent a lot of time with Kennard who is still on the board. Keim has mentioned him and Sawyer.

Keim and or visits seem to be good indicators of what they do. Amos ...

Re: Welcome to the Commanders Trey Amos, DB Ole Miss

Loved the Amos pick especially in that range. Keim when taking Hairston for the ESPN special said he knows they like Amos too, it could be either one if they went CB. I preferred Hairston but also liked Amos.

When watching him, my thoughts were Carlos Rogers but with ball skils. I got to rewatch ...

Re: Draft thread

TreVeyon is going to be one of the first players picked in the second round. No way we're getting him.

At 61, we're probably looking at that next tier of RB: Judkins, Sampson, Johnson, Tuten. I don't feel as great about this group of players, they all have important flaws IMO, and I'm not ...

Fwiw I think RBs like LaQuint Allen or Jaydon Blue might end providing more value later on than taking a RB at the end of Round 2.
If mocks are close to on the money 5th-6th range for L. Allen. Blue 4th-5th.
